Blue & Green Algae Remover 250ml

A mass breakout of algae not only looks ugly, but can also cloud the water and even damage life in the aquarium. The occurrence of algae plagues indicates a nutrient imbalance that should be remedied. However sometimes immediate, direct action is required to combat the unsightly growths. Oase Blue & Green Algae Remover contains a complex mix of active substances which inhibits the metabolic process of algae, preventing them from carrying out photosynthesis and thus slowly starves them out. AquariumActiv Blue & Green Algae Remover fights the most common species of algae effectively to deliver long-term results.

Oase Blue & Green Algae Remover contains copper sulphate, therefore pay particular attention to the dosage, especially in aquariums with shrimp or other invertebrates.

Application:
Do not use at a pH below 7, it is recommended to use the lowest dose rate which is usually sufficient to achieve the desired effect.

In case of higher algal density or depending on water quality, it might be required to use a higher dose rate. Use only when assessment of algae infestation and aquarium parameters indicate, that all non chemical algae control measures, eg. partial water exchange, mechanical algae removal and regular filter cleaning are unsuitable to give sufficient algae control.

Moderate Algae Control Dosage:
To control growth of algae, add a single dose of 10ml per 100L aquarium water.

If repetition is required after 3-4 weeks the same treatment should be followed for either green algae or blue green algae.

Acute Algae Control Dosage:
To control growth of algae, add a single dose of 28-30ml per 100L aquarium water.

To specifically control growth of green algae, add a single dose of 28-30ml per 100L aquarium water.

To specifically control growth of blue green algae, add 3ml per 100L aquarium water per day on 3 successive days.

If repetition is required after 3-4 weeks the same treatment should be followed for either green algae or blue green algae.
